A Photographer

As a matter of principle, I have never exhibited photographs of any foreign locations. In my first exhibition called “Maira’s World“, way back in 1996, I had exhibited photographs of various countries travelled to or had the opportunity to live in during the course of my studies.

There were photos of Scotland and England where I studied. Particularly all the countries of Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, a few South East Asia locations like Bangladesh and Singapore and from Egypt and Israel. After this first exhibition I decided that I would display pictures of only Indian locations. To share with people the great beauty of India as also the diversity in Indian landscapes.

As the Himalaya’s have always been a strong attraction for me, I have put up exhibitions of Bhutan and Nepal.
